I experienced 2 flight cancellations in…
I experienced 2 flight cancellations in the past 6 months. The first one happened at Gatwick (the stupid drones). I got another flight for the next evening and I had to book myself an hotel room, as the staff was overwhelmed with the stranded passengers and highly disorganised.
The second cancellation happened in Naples (another airline’s aircraft had an accident). This time I was able to both book another flight and request a hotel room almost immediately via the app. I was lucky to be so quick, as many others tried too late, after the app started crashing. The staff at the check in desks were better at dealing with this than in GTW, but it took them over an hour to part us into groups to board the coaches to the different hotels. They also promised that the next day, there would be hotel shuttles available to bring the stranded passengers back to the airport for their flights – this never happened. I had to spend 60 euros for a taxi ride, which I now have to go through the hassle of requestung a refund for.

Overall, they are usually sufficiently efficient, but they need better coping strategies for airport closures, delays and cancellations.

EASY JET WE. NEED HELP
Having been caught up in the baggage problems at Gatwick yesterday 24 hours later we still have no information as to where our baggage is let alone when it will arrive. We are a family travelling with a baby, toddler and also medical Conditions ( we travelled with 2 days supply in hand luggage)
Life is very difficult without a biggie, car seat ( we have had to hire a very tired one) clothes, toiletries, nappies etc.
What is really frustrating is EasyJet doesn’t seem to care or be prepared to do anything.

Wholly surprised but very much appreciated customer service
I was really, really surprised by EasyJet’s handling of our cancelled flight on Sunday.

Our flight, among many others, was cancelled due to French air traffic control issues.

On getting to Geneva airport and joining the queue to find out how to deal with the cancellation we were immediately informed on what options we had. On getting to the desk we were allowed to reverse the ‘free flight change’ we’d made en route to the airport to travel 4.5 hours the following day to Marseille, which we’d done for fear we wouldn’t get home for two days. This was done so we can seek a refund on the return flight home. We were also told that easyjet would reimburse flights paid to fly with an alternative airline the next day, because Easyjet could not arrange suitable and reasonable flights within the next 48 hours. We were also offered a night in a hotel along with meals and other reasonable expenses. In contrast to our expectation, the hotel was a very smart Crowne Plaza just a few minutes from the airport.

All in all, as long as our alternative flights costs are indeed reimbursed, this was a wholly surprising but very much appreciated response from EasyJet and their staff. Well Done!

Unnaceptable treatment of paying…
Unnaceptable treatment of paying customers and no respect of people at all. Sexist and racist employees. Instead of answering questions they just threatened us. Worth paying extra to flight with another company, drive, take the train or change destination do whatever you need to do but DONT FLY EASYJET NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT IS. NOT WORTH IT !!!

LEE AND CREW WAS AMAZING
ref. Ezy8366 – LEE MATCHESWALA and crew

l have never used easy jet before always travel by BA or Virgin but my daughters does a lot travelling she booked my flight with easy jet to her party going and coming. On our return our flight was delayed, l was so impressed with the pilot who came out to speak to us about the delay. The staff was so amazing and very friendly.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY EVER!
I repeat: Do not book this company ever!
I didnt believe al the negative reviews and give it a try and you guess it.. Our flight was canceled 3 hours before trip. I heard later that it happens all the time. Then when I was asking for hotel room, app promted error all the time. When I try to contact costumer support it was impossible to speak with a real person. I tought I am gonna spare some money but instead I pay 100€ more for hotel and lost 1 day at work.
DO NOT BE STUPID LIKE I WAS PLEASE! JUST AVOID THEM FOR EVER!

Stuck at the Budapest airport today
Stuck at the Budapest airport today. The flight has been cancelled an hour before departure. Could nit reach them on the phone for 2 hours. I then was not able to buy another tickets either as they filed up so quickly. It was the first and last time I ever booked with them. I would not suggest anyone to use them. They only gave me a french printed paper to get help over the phone. But nobody really helped. Chat was also offline.

Easyjet – easier than Ryanair
I’ve flow with Easyjet regularly, from Manchester to Hamburg, from Gatwick to Hamburg and Gatwick to Innsbruck.

Nearly all of the flights have taken off and landed within an hour of scheduled times. The exception was a 6 hour delay in Innsbruck, because of a staff shortage, followed by bad weather preventing take off, then the baggage handlers going to the wrong terminal at Gatwick – not one of their best days. They paid around £300 in compensation, so that eased my pain.

Flights are frequently delayed, regardless of who you fly with. Easyjet staff are much happier, friendlier and helpful than Ryanair staff,and don’t go on strike 3 times a year either!

Brilliant crew today
Just landed after 3 hour delay kept us on the ground in Bristol as a result of a tech error at French Traffic Control. The crew if flight EZY6071 today were excellent: The pilot and co-pilot showed anyone interested the cockpit and the cabin crew served comp drinks and snacks without a moan. They kept us all calm and were totally professional. Well done that crew!

Thomas cook did it better…
This will be the last time I fly easyjet and will encourage others not too. Families are standing in a queue to go sit in the gate for over an hour after been called to it. There are no seats for them fo sit as they are stuck at a point before the gate with no seats. No announcement to say how much more we will be delayed. No apology. Nothing. Absolute joke. Flew here with Thomas Cook. Wish I had booked them home too…

Holidays in Easyjet waiting purgatory !
From Glasgow to marseilles was 3 hour plus delay and then a 3/4 hour wait for the baggage in a dismal airport hall.so her Ian tonight on my way home late Ona Saturday night and true to form on this trip the Easyjet return I already an hour late . I fear for the rest of my week as it has been getting later and later every 10 minutes … and all in one of the most depressing departure terminals it has been my bad luck to experience here in Marseilles Provence.

Went to Italy bags out no problem…
Went to Italy bags out no problem travelled back with less and they say you have to pay £75 euros. Asked for our bags back super Mario pressed the conveyor button and they disappeared.That was to prevent us putting excess in our hand luggage

Just weighed them at Manchester airport they are not over weight

They are running a scam a racket no wonder the fat Greek bailed out

REF FLIGHT EZY8967 28/08/2019 When passengers were left on the departing aircraft for nearly 2 hours, then it’s the Decision Makers of Easyjet that should be held to account. Personally I’m speaking as one of the ‘;wheelchair assistance’ group, who had a further wait, because only 1 assistance operative was available. ( for 6 of us who had to be wheeled 1 at a time after all passengers had to disembark.) We were given £3 each vouchers for refreshments, and a form to claim for compensation. I must emphasise this in no way reflects on the aircraft Staff who were extremely courteous . S0 Easyjet Managers, perhaps you could discuss what happens to a customer with incontinence, coping with a situation like this? Also to allow funding for more wheelchair operatives to be available in a crisis situation?

Incompetent customer service
I used to use easyJet a lot but have now boycotted them completely.
It’s hard to get all their failings on here so here’s the bullet points.
-Arrived in good time at the airport but as our flight was delayed were asked to wait in a long line whilst they sent other passengers to the front.
– got to the front and told bag drop closes on the original not delayed time so we missed it (by 3mins) and couldn’t board.
– told we could pay a ticket transfer fee and get a later flight but no flights available for 2 days
-booked a flight the same day through the easyJet app for a lot more than transfer fee.
-complained.
-easyJet Ignored the complaint.
-complained again, easyJet said it wasn’t their fault as they had lost the complaint but miraculously found it when I called
– easyJet accepted full responsibility but declined to reimburse the extra costs incurred
-case taken to independent arbitrator
-arbitrator finds in our favour
-easyJet ignored the findings and still has not paid despite the deadline long since passing

Our easyjet plane arrived over a hour late on our homeward bound route – and it was late!- thus we were unable to take our public transport to our home. Would not give any reimbursement with their feeble excuse of ‘The transfers claimed for are a private arrangement which were booked after the flight disruption took place.’ Of course it was after the flight! too bad they are cheap…i would never use them otherwise.
